Powerware MultiView leverages the power of Windows Internet Explorer and expands its functionality to display multiple web sites simultaneously. When used in conjunction with ConnectUPS Web/SNMP cards, LanSafe version 5, or other Powerware devices, MultiView provides an at-a-glance console that instantly gives you the status of any UPS being monitored. Use the simple yet powerful Status@aGlance function of ConnectUPS Web/SNMP cards to enhance your experience even further.

The URL in the address bar may not automatically update when navigating web pages.

6.0 Workarounds

- Enable Web/SNMP Card Superuser Status

When attempting to become a Superuser for a web/SNMP card, clicking the Become 
Superuser button may not display the password authentication dialog box. This 
prevents any user from becoming a Superuser.

To allow MultiView to display the password authentication dialog box:
   1. In the Tools menu select Options.
   2. Click the General Tab.
   3. In the Preferences list, deselect the "Disable dialog boxes coming from 
      sites" check box.
   4. Click OK to save the setting.

Note: The "Disable dialog boxes coming from sites" is enabled by default in 
MultiView in order to suppress JavaScript errors and similar dialog boxes.
